NEW TECHNIQUE available. Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy using the U225 Meso injector
This method involves withdrawing a small amount of a patient’s own blood, processing it so that only the enriched cells or Platelet-Rich Plasma remain.
These enriched cells or ‘growth factors’ are then injected into the required area of skin, including the scalp, which in turn trigger the surrounding cells to reproduce, stimulating repair, increasing volume and rejuvenating the skin.
When it is injected the platelet plasma sends out signals to other cells in the body telling them to rush forward to the injection site. One cell that is stimulated during the process is the fibroblast cell, which is the cell type that creates collagen. Collagen is what gives skin a youthful appearance.
PRP therapy is not just confined in treating facial skin, but can also benefit other areas of the body such as the neck and hands. It can also be used to treat hair loss in both men and women. PRP can help where there is a hair follicle. However in complete baldness, where there is no hair follicle apparent, PRP will not work. However, it can assist and benefit those who have had hair transplants.
Below are examples of before and after PRP therapy. All treatments are tailored to the individual and personal experiences and results may vary.

Launched by Fusion GT, Plexr is a very multi-functional device and successfully treats a wide range of conditions including:-
As the procedure is performed with the Plexr machine small dots are made that do not cause bleeding and do not damage the surrounding and underlying tissues. This process offers tissue retraction and instantly tightens the skin.

Anti-Wrinkle Injections e.g. Botox
Every time we frown, squint or smile the skin is creased. The more expressive you are, the deeper the lines become and as we age the skin loses elasticity and becomes less able to repair the damage. Anti-wrinkle injections treat the wrinkles around the eyes (crows feet), frown lines, forehead, side of nose, lower eyelids and the neck.
It is safe and virtually painless with results becoming visible within 3 to 7 days and lasting about 3 to 4 months.
The vast majority of patients experience no side-effects whatsoever. Occasionally, a small bruise at the injection site may occur which will disappear after a few days and mild headaches lasting a few hours have been reported in a very few instances.
A chemical peel is a facial rejuvenation technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin using a chemical solution. It removes the outer layer of the skin therefore removing some sun spots and rough scaly patches. It also reduces the appearance of acne scars, freckles and irregular pigmentation.
At our dental practices we use a mild chemical peel meaning minimal redness and NO FLAKING of the SKIN. The Glycolic Acid Peel that we use is the mildest peel used by doctors and skin-care specialists. It removes only the outermost layers of the skin and will speed up the process of cell replacement, resulting in a slightly smoother and fresher look. This type of peel is often referred to as the “lunchtime” peel and is administered once a week for two to six weeks. The immediate sensation is that of mild sunburn to the area where the chemicals have been applied and make-up must not be applied for several hours after the peel.
